Charles Edmund Howell, retired Yaphank storekeeper, died early Friday at his home on Main street, Yaphank, at the age of 80 years.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Matilda Howell. Funeral services were held Sunday, at the home, with the Rev. William Stewart, pastor of the MiddIe Island Presbyterian church officiating, and interment, was made in Yaphank cemetery.
