ORVILLE MILLER RANDALL
Orville Miller Randall, aged 63, died last Tuesday morning at the home of his cousin, Ernest Randall of the Ridge. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the lat-ter's home, the Rev. William Stewart, pastor of the Middle Island Presbyterian church, officiating. Internment was made in the family plot in the Middle Island cemetery.

Randall was a carpenter by trade ad had been a farmer for the past 30 years. He was born August 25, 1874, in Middle Island, his Parents being, Elizabeth Miller Randall and the late Gilbert 0. Randall

He was directly descended from John Randall born in Bath, England, and wife Elizabeth Morton Randall, whose grandson, Samuel Randall was born in Connecticut and came to the Ridge in 1738. Samuel Randall purchased a large tract of land at the Ridge, the Orville Randall farm, being part of this original tract.
